Description
1916 MS 62 NGC. A lovely example of this rare first year of issue of the Standing Liberty design. Only 52,000 pieces were struck at the end of the calendar year, and curiously, few were saved, especially in high grade. This piece displays good luster under golden-brown toning with magenta highlights. Clearly a premium coin for the grade and destined for an important collection.
