Description
Lustrous Borderline Unc. 1916 Standing Liberty
1916 25C AU 58. The transitional 1916 Standing Liberty is unquestionably one of the most highly sought-after of all 20th century silver coins. Only 52,000 pieces were minted and high grade coins have always been prized by both beginning and advanced collectors alike. This is a lustrous silver-gray example with bits of golden-russet toning that cling to the devices. Only the slightest rub on the highpoints separates this attractive key from Uncirculated status.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242Y, PCGS# 5704, GSID# 5533)
