Description

1916 Standing Liberty Quarter, VF20
Pleasing Patina, Clear Date

1916 25C VF20 PCGS. Visually pleasing circulated 1916 Standing Liberty quarters can be as challenging to find as their higher-grade Mint State counterparts. Natural patina and a clear date are typically the chief considerations, and this coin fulfills both of these criteria. Olive-gray toning fills the obverse fields around Liberty, while light slate-gray encompasses the remainder of each side. Though worn at the top, the date is clear, and there are no overt distractions. A thin old scratch over the bottom of the wall right of the date is about as old as the coin.
