Description

Choice VF 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter

1916 25C VF35 NGC. Now here is a truly rare coin, a 1916 Standing Liberty quarter that managed to circulate for 25 points of wear before being plucked from circulation. The inner beaded border is completely full around the coin, and a considerable amount of detail is still present on Liberty's head, on what likely started out as a Full Head coin. The pretty golden-gray surfaces show slight accents of orange and lilac.(Registry values: N2998)
