Lustrous, Beautifully Toned 1917-D Type One Quarter
MS66 Full Head
1917-D 25C Type One MS66 Full Head PCGS. Lovely peripheral
russet, olive, and yellow-green patina frames the lighter
silver-gray centers. A touch of weakness on the shield but strongly
impressed elsewhere, the head is exquisitely detailed on this
highly lustrous and minimally marked coin. The 1917-D Type One has
the lowest mintage of the six 1917 Standing Liberty quarter issues.
