Dappled Toning With Underlying Brilliance
1917-D 25C Type Two MS66 Full Head PCGS. Dappled toning
fails to mask the satiny brilliance of this Premium Gem quarter
with Full Head detail -- a quality found on approximately 5% of the
6.2 million coin-mintage, according to J.H. Cline. Liberty's facial
features and olive leaves are fully rendered, and the date is
crisp. Slight blending over the first few rivets is expected.
