Description
Impressive MS66 Full Head 1917-S
Type One Standing Liberty Quarter
1917-S 25C Type One MS66 Full Head PCGS. Though it has a
higher mintage than its Denver counterpart, the 1917-S Type One
Standing Liberty quarter is more elusive across broad swaths of the
grading scale. This Full Head Premium Gem offers excellent
definition and satiny luster with hints of gold-orange patina
against otherwise silver-gray surfaces; these accents are deepest
near the rims. PCGS has graded only nine finer Full Head coins
(8/09).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2433, PCGS# 5711, GSID# 5568)
