Description

1918 25C MS66 PCGS Secure. The 1918 Standing Liberty quarter is virtually as scarce in high grade as the branch mint counterparts are, and it is rare above MS66. This Premium Gem example is a trifle weak at the temple and thus lacks a Full Head designation, but the shield rivets, date, and toes are better-defined. The surfaces are unabraded and frosty with light golden toning. A dash of russet color appears around Liberty's head. Population: 26 in 66 (3 in 66+), 3 finer (6/18).(Registry values: N1793)
