Description

1918 Quarter, MS67 Full Head
Beautiful Color; Three Finer at PCGS

1918 25C MS67 Full Head PCGS. CAC. Ex: Duckor-Pogue. Silver surfaces contain faint hues of periwinkle and peach and dappled regions of mustard-yellow and russet-orange. Luster is deep, and the presence of obverse leaves and additional detail on the rear of the hair show that this coin is not a "slider" with regard to its Full Head status. The other design elements are bold as well, with virtually full detail on the oft-weak shield rivets and significant definition on the eagle's breast feathers. This gives it claims to full details status, beyond just a Full Head. On top of these important qualities, few survivors remain as well preserved as the present offering, as PCGS lists just two numerically finer certifications. PCGS Population: 18 in 67 (1 in 67+), 2 finer (2/26).
