Description

1918 Standing Liberty Quarter, MS67
Rare and Underrated, Nearly Full Head

1918 25C MS67 PCGS. Ex: J.H. Cline. The 1918 Standing Liberty quarter is a rarity in Superb Gem condition. In more than two decades, we have offered such a coin only 17 times. Of these, just six appearances were of a non-Full Head example. The certified population figures support the reality that the 1918 is extremely rare in MS67 non-Full Head and is somewhat undervalued in the context of the series. This representative showcases bold detail on the shield, date, stars, and eagle, and Liberty's head is at least 80% complete. Splashes of amber, gold, and sea-green toning appear on each side over frosty lavender-blue luster. Population: 3 in 67, 0 finer (11/15).
