1918/7-S 25C FS-101 -- Harshly Cleaned -- NGC Details. AU.
Tan-white surfaces exhibit muted luster, denoting a vigorous
cleaning on this AU-level 1918/7-S quarter, but to the naked eye,
the appeal is acceptable. Liberty's head and the shield show
typical weakness, but the date is sharp. Although the overdate is
not a deliberate issue in the series, most collectors consider it
an essential part of the date and mintmark set.
