Description

1919 Quarter, MS67+ Full Head
Stunning CAC Condition Rarity

1919 25C MS67+ Full Head PCGS. CAC. The 1919 is one of the more accessible pre-1925 Type Two issues in high grade Full Head, though such coins are conditionally scarce as fine as Superb Gem, and Plus designated or CAC approved pieces this fine are decidedly rare. The current piece boasts both the Plus and CAC distinctions. Old-time "skin" over each side glistens with brilliant, frosty luster devoid of all by the most minute grazes. The date, stars, head, and shield are all bold. On the reverse, the leading edge of the eagle's left (facing) wing is sharp as well. Light die clashing is as often seen on this issue. PCGS Population: 52 in 67 (6 in 67+), 2 finer (3/26). CAC: 20 in 67, 0 finer (3/26).
