Description

1919 Quarter, MS67 Full Head
Razor-Sharp Throughout

1919 25C MS67 Full Head PCGS. Of all the pre-1925 Type Two issues, the 1919 is one of the most easily obtainable in high-grade Full Head, surpassed in availability only by the 1917 Type Two, and is an ideal candidate for type representation. Additionally, Full Head 1919 quarters typically exhibit full or nearly full definition over all design elements, something that cannot be said of most issues in the series. This Superb Gem does not disappoint, as sharp definition is seen on the shield lines and rivets, the stars, the date, and the leading edge of the eagle's right wing. Liberty's head shows a touch of softness at the temple, though the hairline and the three leaves are complete. A few light golden accents complement softly frosted, brilliant mint bloom on each side, and the preservation is nearly perfect. Population: 16 in 67 (1 in 67+) Full Head, 2 finer (4/14).(Registry values: N2998)
