1919 Quarter, MS69
Extraordinary Rainbow Toning
1919 25C MS69 NGC. Ex: "Just Having Fun" Collection. While
PCGS has certified three examples of this issue as MS68, including
one designated as a Full Head, they have never certified an MS69
specimen. NGC has examined four high grade coins, including one
each certified as MS68, MS68 Full Head, MS69 (this piece), and MS69
Full Head (3/13).Although this piece is not designated as a Full Head, it exhibits virtually full head details. Equally important, all other details are fully defined, including the rivets on the shield that are complete. Both sides have radiant and frosty mint brilliance at the centers, within a frame of amazing gold, violet, and blue toning.(Registry values: N4719)
