Description

1919-D Quarter Dollar, MS63
Smooth and Satiny

1919-D 25C MS63 PCGS. Struck from an early die state without the typical die clashing in the recesses around Liberty's legs. Light russet color accents ivory luster and smooth surfaces, with overall pleasing visual appeal for the grade. Liberty's head and the shield show typical softness, but the date area is boldly defined. The 1919-D is a semikey date in the series and one of the most challenging Denver coins in high grade.(Registry values: N1793)
