Description

1919-D 25C MS64 PCGS. An attractive coin with delicate gold toning over the luster, and very clean surfaces for the grade. The strike is a bit weak on the head of Liberty, typical of this date, but actually stronger than many seen. Slight softness on the shield bosses, with the usual two center ones poorly brought up. Die cracks split the date, but the numbers are still clear. A very scarce date in upper grades and this coin has ample appeal for the collector.(#5730) (Registry values: N1793)
