Description
Remarkable 1919-D Quarter, MS65 Full Head
1919-D 25C MS65 Full Head PCGS. CAC. This issue ranks high among the conditionally rare Full Head Standing Liberty quarters. In fact, it has the third lowest Gem Full Head population. PCGS has never graded a Gem Full Head 1918/7-S quarter, and they have graded five Gem Full Head examples of the 1927-S. The 1919-D is next with eight MS65 Full Head coins and five MS66 Full Head coins. Rounding out the top ten for the series are the 1919-S (14), 1920-S (22), 1926-S (24), 1926-D (29), 1918-S (36), 1924-S (37), and 1920-D (42) issues. This incredible Gem is fully brilliant with frosty silver luster, full design definition, and no evidence of toning. It is possibly the most interesting coin in the world. Population: 8 in 65 Full Head, 5 finer (8/09).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243C, PCGS# 5731, Greysheet# 5578)
