1919-D Quarter Dollar, MS65
Original Russet Toning
1919-D 25C MS65 NGC. Most Uncirculated 1919-D quarters seen
grade in the MS62 to MS64 range. Gems are scarce, and anything
finer is rarely offered. This lustrous MS65 example displays
speckled russet toning over champagne surfaces. Liberty's head
shows the typical weakness, but the date is clear, and the shield
rivets exhibit above-average definition. Light contact on Liberty's
knee is seen with a loupe. Census: 25 in 65 (1 in 65+), 16 finer
