Description
1919-D Quarter Dollar, MS65
Vibrant Luster and Impeccably Preserved Surfaces
1919-D 25C MS65 PCGS. CAC. Considerable definition is
present on the head of Liberty, even if insufficient for a Full
Head designation. In fact, only an estimated one percent of this
issue was struck with Full Head detailing, according to Cline
(2007). The remaining surfaces are well-detailed. Most of the
rivets on the left side show; these are usually obliterated
completely. The surfaces exhibit vibrant luster and soft purple
toning, slightly deeper on the obverse. Both sides are impeccably
preserved. Population: 57 in 65 (1 in 65+), 36 finer. CAC: 12 in
65, 6 finer (10/21).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 9/2013), lot 6404.(Registry values: N1793)
