Description

1919-D Standing Liberty Quarter, MS65
Elusive Denver Issue

1919-D 25C MS65 PCGS. A satiny Gem example of this Denver semikey, showing light champagne color across otherwise ivory-white surfaces. A couple of small, radial die breaks appear on the reverse along the right border. Liberty's head and the shield rivets exhibit the usual softness, but the date numerals are boldly brought up. Finer 1919-D quarters are borderline rare. Population: 62 in 65 (3 in 65+), 41 finer (1/23).(Registry values: N1793)
