Description

1919-S Quarter Dollar, MS64
Profound Central Sharpness

1919-S 25C MS64 PCGS. CAC. Even though this Choice 1919-S Standing Liberty quarter is not a Full Head coin it should not be overlooked by series specialists. Liberty's head -- a trifle weak at the temple -- is quite literally the only relief element that is not absolutely complete. The shield lines and rivets are uncommonly well-defined, the stars are crisp, the date is bold, and the eagle's breast and wing feathers are much sharper than is typical for this San Francisco issue. Traces of champagne and ice-blue color accent frosty, largely undisturbed luster.(Registry values: N1793)
