Description

1919-S Quarter Dollar, MS64
Sharp Date and Centers

1919-S 25C MS64 PCGS. The 1919-S is one of the semikeys of the Standing Liberty quarter series, seldom offered in attractive Mint State condition. This near-Gem example is quire spectacular for the issue, showing incredibly strong central definition, including nearly complete shield rivets. The date numerals are fully brought up, and only a touch of softness on Liberty's temple prevents a Full Head designation. Traces of champagne toning grace satiny, unabraded surfaces. Population: 52 in 64, 61 finer (4/20).(Registry values: N1793)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243D, PCGS# 5732, Greysheet# 5579)

Weight: 6.25 grams

Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
