Description

1919-S Quarter Dollar, MS64
Minimal Abrasions for the Grade

1919-S 25C MS64 PCGS. The 1919-S is among the semikey dates of the Standing Liberty quarter series, and the coin is elusive in high grade regardless of Full Head or not. This near-Gem non-Full Head piece is quite pleasing for the grade. Luster is satiny with a tinge of light golden color, and there are no obtrusive marks along the ridge of Liberty's forward leg. Light clash marks appear beneath a loupe as usual. Liberty's head detail is weak, but the date is bold. Housed in a green label holder. Population: 53 in 64, 69 finer (9/23).(Registry values: N1793)
