Description

1920 Quarter, MS67 Full Head
Boldly Defined, Vibrant Surfaces

1920 25C MS67 Full Head PCGS Secure. This Condition Census 1920 Full Head is the crème de la crème of fully struck Standing Liberty quarters. The 1920 is typically one of the best-struck issues in the series, but this Superb Gem is remarkably sharp even for this pre-1925 Philadelphia issue. Tack-sharp definition is seen on Liberty's head, the shield rivets, and the eagle's feathers, and the date numerals, stars, and chain mail are comparably bold. The surfaces are devoid of perceptible flaws and showcase vibrant cartwheel luster. Faint lilac and golden hues are seen on each side, somewhat deeper near the borders. Full Head 1920 Standing Liberty quarters are seldom seen above the Gem grade level, and this Superb Gem example is an absolute rarity. Population: 7 in 67 (1 in 67+) Full Head, 0 finer (10/15).(Registry values: N4719)
