Description

1920 Quarter, Well-Struck MS67
Rare, Among the Finest Certified

1920 25C MS67 NGC. Ex: J.H. Cline. The razor-sharp shield rivets and bold central detail of this Superb Gem 1920 Standing Liberty quarter are more often seen on this issue than most others, although such definition is nothing short of remarkable in the context of the series. The date and stars are equally bold, and Liberty's head is just a trifle weak at the temple. Frosty champagne luster illuminates beautifully preserved surfaces. This piece is among the finest non-Full Head coins known. Census: 25 in 67 (7 in 67 ★ , 1 in 67+ ★ ), 0 finer (11/15).
