Description

1920-D 25C MS65 PCGS. CAC. Lustrous, well-preserved surfaces are toned in varied shades of pewter gray and golden-brown. The strike is typical for the issue showing sharpness in some areas and softness in others. The details of Liberty's chain mail armor and vertical stripes in the shield are sharp and all of her toes are visible, while her head shows characteristic softness at the highpoints. Most the eagle's wing feather features are sharp while the breast plumage details are predominantly soft. The 1920-D is scarce and eagerly sought at the MS65 grade level.
