Description
1920-D Quarter, MS66
Seldom Seen This Fine
1920-D 25C MS66 NGC. The 1920-D is among the rarest issues
in the series in high-grade Full Head, but non-Full Head coins are
also scarce and undervalued in Premium Gem condition. This piece is
brilliant and satiny. Liberty's head and a couple of shield rivets
lack complete definition, but the eagle's plumage, the stars, and
the date numerals are sharp. Luster is average, but the overall eye
appeal is pleasing. Census: 13 in 66, 2 finer (2/16).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243F, PCGS# 5736, GSID# 5581)
