Description

1921 Standing Liberty Quarter, MS63 Full Head
Well-Known, Low-Mintage Issue

1921 25C MS63 Full Head NGC. The 1921 has long been considered one of the "must-have" issues in the Standing Liberty quarter series. The low mintage of 1.9 million pieces goes a long way toward explaining why. This is an exceptionally sharp coin that has full head definition (as expected), as well as strong rivet detail and sharp feather definition on the eagle. The satiny surfaces have an overlay of gray-rose toning on the obverse, while the reverse is almost brilliant.(Registry values: N991)
