Description
1921 Quarter Dollar, MS64
Toned CAC Example
1921 25C MS64 PCGS. CAC. The 1921 is a Guide Book key
that is often more plentiful in Mint State than many collectors
realize. However, the challenge comes in locating a nice,
CAC-approved piece. Such coins are seldom offered in any Mint State
grade. This Choice CAC example displays lovely pastel toning in
various colors, with a bold date and shield. Liberty's head and the
upper border reed-and-bead are sacrificially weak to create the
sharp date. On the reverse, a lone mark on the eagle's left
(facing) wing serves as a pedigree marker.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243H, PCGS# 5740, Greysheet# 5545)
