Description

1921 Quarter, MS66 Full Head
Glistening CAC-Approved Surfaces
Incredible Head Sharpness

1921 25C MS66 Full Head PCGS. CAC. Our consignor clearly spent some time waiting for the perfect example of the 1921. This date is prone to several deficiencies that make it difficult to find an attractive example. Liberty's temple is usually weak, the date is usually flat, and luster is often uninspiring. Our consignor's coin, though, breaks norms on all these accounts. Every one of the fine details on Liberty's head is boldly rendered, the shield rivets are bold, the date and Liberty's toes are bold, and each side glistens with original, frosty mint-silver luster. On the reverse, the leading edge of the eagle's left (facing) wing shows full definition, as do the right-hand border stars. One small tick on Liberty's knee and a few grazes on the walls are all that deny an even finer grade, and they in no way hinder CAC endorsement. This is one of the most attractive 1921 quarters we have seen in recent memory, all grades considered. PCGS Population: 36 in 66 (4 in 66+), 3 finer (3/26).(Registry values: N2998)
