Description

1921 Quarter Dollar, MS66
Brilliant and Frosty

1921 25C MS66 NGC. Glistening silver luster adorns this Premium Gem, yielding only the most minute marks that limit the grade. Liberty's head is only slightly weak at the temple and the date, while the shield rivets exhibit bold definition. The obverse die is heavily clashed in the drapery around Liberty's legs. The 1921 Standing Liberty quarter is one of the semikeys of the series, with even non-Full Head coins being scarce in MS66, and rare finer. NGC Census: 35 in 66 (3 in 66+), 2 finer (11/25).(Registry values: N1793)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243H, PCGS# 5740, Greysheet# 5545)
