Description
1921 Quarter, Toned MS66
Lustrous and Appealing
1921 25C MS66 NGC. Vibrant, frosty luster backlights a veil
of warm sun-gold and lavender toning on each side of this Premium
Gem key-date quarter. Liberty's head is a trifle soft, but the
shield, stars, and the eagle's feathers are well-defined. The 1921
Standing Liberty quarter's mintage of more than 1.9 million coins
was not unusually low for the series, but large quantities of this
issue were lost to attrition, primarily due to the date being worn
off in circulation. Census: 23 in 66 (1 in 66+), 1 finer
(1/15).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243H, PCGS# 5740, GSID# 5545)
Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
