Description
Frosty Gem 1923-S Quarter
Untoned Silver-White Surfaces
1923-S 25C MS65 PCGS. CAC. There is much value and aesthetic
appeal even in non-Full Head Standing Liberty quarters, as this
frosty Gem amply demonstrates. Even though this piece is slightly
shy of a full strike on the head, a couple of shield rivets, and
the toes and top of the date, the flowing luster, relatively few
signs of contact, and untoned silver-white surfaces more than
compensate. Population: 94 in 65 (1 in 65+), 29 finer
(9/12).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243K, PCGS# 5744, Greysheet# 5585)
Weight: 6.25 grams
Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
