1923-S Quarter, MS65
Satiny With a Hint of Toning
1923-S 25C MS65 PCGS. An exceptionally well struck example
for a non-Full Head piece, showing nearly Full Head sharpness as
well as a strong date. The shield rivets show weakness per usual.
Light olive-gold toning tinges the borders. This San Francisco
issue comes from a limited mintage of 1.36 million pieces, and much
of the coinage was lost to circulation due to the rapidly wearing
