Description

1924 25C MS67 PCGS. Ex: J.H. Cline. Superb Gem 1924 Standing Liberty quarters are more or less evenly split between Full Head and non-Full Head designations, both being conditionally rare. This satiny example just misses Full Head classification, showing trivial weakness on Liberty's temple. Nonetheless, the date, shield, and stars are bold, and the eagle's breast is well-defined. Pastel shades of champagne and lavender-gray toning grace each side, while the obverse shows additional splashes of olive and amber-red in the margins. Population: 13 in 67 (2 in 67+), 2 finer (11/15).
