Description

Memorable MS68 Full Head 1924 Quarter

1924 25C MS68 Full Head NGC. A shining example of "quality in rarity," in that while more than 10.9 million Standing Liberty quarters were struck at Philadelphia in 1924, just this and one other example have been certified as MS68 Full Head by NGC, with none so graded by PCGS and no finer Full Head coins known (6/09). This example has vibrant luster with pale rose and sage accents against otherwise silver-gray surfaces. Both Liberty's head and the rivets of her shield show substantially above-average detail, and distracting marks are nowhere to be found. Incredible eye appeal for the date.(Registry values: N4719)
