Description
Originally Toned MS 66 Full Head 1924-D Quarter
1924-D 25C MS 66 Full Head PCGS. While this issue was amply represented in our Museum of Connecticut History Sale in 1995, few of the pieces from that sale achieved the level of quality represented by this coin. The surfaces glisten with mint frost and both sides are lightly coated with golden patina that deepens considerably around the rims. A lovely example and one of only 12 pieces to have been so graded by PCGS with only one finer (4/01).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243M, PCGS# 5749, GSID# 5588)
