Description

Vibrant 1924-D Quarter, MS67

1924-D 25C MS67 PCGS. The 1924-D is fairly common in Mint State without a Full Head. Premium Gem examples such as the present offering are another story, however. PCGS and NGC have certified only around 50 MS67s, and NGC has graded a solitary MS68. Radiantly lustrous surfaces display cobalt-blue, lavender, and orange patina at the borders, much more extensively so on the obverse. Well struck, except for the usual weakness on the date and rivets near the abdomen. Impeccably preserved throughout. Population: 9 in 67, 0 finer (10/09).(Registry values: N1793)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243M, PCGS# 5748, Greysheet# 5587)

Weight: 6.25 grams

Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
