Description

1924-S 25C MS66 PCGS. The 1924-S is an underappreciated issue in the Standing Liberty quarter series. Any example -- even non-Full Head -- is scarce in MS66, and the date is notably rare any finer. This Premium Gem displays luminous, satiny luster and brilliant silver-white color. Liberty's temple is sharp, though the area of the ear is slightly weak. The date is strong. Softness on the shield rivets is typical of the issue. Housed in a green label holder. Population: 49 in 66 (4 in 66+), 10 finer (9/23).(Registry values: N1793)
