Description
1925 Quarter, MS67+ Full Head
The Single Finest at NGC
1925 25C MS67+ Full Head NGC. The date of the Standing
Liberty quarter was recessed in 1925 to solve the problem of
excessive wear on the digits that had plagued the series in earlier
years. The grading services indicate that there is an adequate
supply of Full Heads through MS65, after which the population drops
significantly. The present MS67+ is the single finest 1925
seen at NGC. Glowing mint luster shines through light toning and a
solid strike imparts full detail not only to Liberty's head but
also to the chain mail, rivets, and vertical stripes of the inner
shield. Census: 13 in 67 (1 in 67+) Full Head, 0 finer (10/13).Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.(Registry values: N4719)

Truth Seeker: The Life of Eric P. Newman (softcover)
A powerful and intimidating dealer of the 1960s, backed by important colleagues, was accused of selling fraudulent gold coins and ingots to unsuspecting numismatists. Who would go up against a man like that and, over the course of decades, prove the fraud? Who would expose a widely respected scholar as a thief, then doggedly pursue recovery of coins that the scholar had stolen from an embarrassed numismatic organization, all over the objections of influential collectors who had bought coins with clouded titles? Eric P. Newman would - and did. Reserve your copy today.
