Description
Outstanding MS68 1926 Quarter
1926 25C MS68 NGC. A just-miss Full Head coin, lacking that designation only because not much of the ear hole is visible, and only two of the three olive sprigs. Even close scrutiny with a loupe fails to reveal any mentionable abrasions, large or small. All of the shield rivets are present, but none of the shield lines are visible. Bold luster emanates from each side of this beautiful and seemingly unimprovable specimen. One of two MS68 pieces known to NGC, with none graded by PCGS (2/09).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243R, PCGS# 5754, GSID# 5553)
