Description

1926-D Quarter, MS64 Full Head
A 'Bold Head and Shield' Strike

1926-D 25C MS64 Full Head PCGS. The 1926-D is one of the most famous "flat head" issues in the Standing Liberty quarter series, such that any Full Head coin is a scarce coin, and an attractive Full Head piece is a rarity. The current Choice Full Head example it outstanding for the grade. Brilliant, luminous surfaces yield only minor marks along the ridge of Liberty's leg, and those are hardly noticed due to the profound sharpness of Liberty's head, the stars, and even the shield rivets. Certainly worthy of a premium bid. PCGS Population: 35 in 64, 37 finer (11/25).(Registry values: N4719)
