1927-S 25C AU53 NGC. The acknowledged late-series key to the Standing Liberty quarter series, the 1927-S is at the top of many collectors' want lists and elusive even at the AU level. The paltry mintage of 396,000 pieces puts the issue far below all others, save for the 1916.
