Description

1927-S Standing Liberty Rarity, MS 64 PCGS

1927-S 25C MS 64 PCGS. The 1927-S boasts the lowest mintage (396,000 pieces) in the Standing Liberty quarter series after the first-year 1916. This is a difficult coin to find fully struck, and the present example, while not completely defined, is uncommonly bold over most features. The luster is predominantly frosty in texture and there are no abrasions that would seem to preclude an even higher grade. Untoned with the exception of a few sprays of tan iridescence on the reverse.
