Low Mintage 1927-S Standing Liberty Quarter
1927-S 25C AU50 ANACS. A key Standing Liberty Quarter in all grades, the 1927-S is especially difficult to locate in grades approaching the Mint State threshold. This is a mostly bright, satiny example with isolated swirls of orange-tan patina near the upper borders. Lightly worn over the highpoints, yet remarkably abrasion-free for a Quarter that saw 10 points of circulation. One of only 396,000 pieces produced.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243W, PCGS# 5764, GSID# 5597)
