1928-D 25C MS66 Full Head PCGS. CAC. The Denver Mint is well known for his poorly produced coins from the 1920s, and the 1928-D quarter is one of the great strike rarities in the series. In all grades, PCGS has certified 2,142 examples of this issue, including just 100 with the Full Head designation. In addition to the bold head, this Premium Gem has a sharp shield, with only two indistinct rivets at 7 o'clock, and even those are faintly visible. Both sides are highly brilliant with frosty and untoned silver surfaces. Population: 16 in 66 (1 in 66+) Full Head, 2 finer (11/12).(Registry values: N4719)
