1929-S 25C MS67+ Full Head NGC....
Description
1929-S Quarter, MS67+ Full Head
Stunning Quality of Luster
1929-S 25C MS67+ Full Head NGC. The 1929-S is among the more
accessible branch mint issues in Full Head, especially among San
Francisco dates. However, Superb Gem pieces are conditionally
scarce, and Full Head coins grading finer than the present piece
are prohibitively rare. This coin displays frosty, nearly pristine
mint luster with daubs of russet on the obverse and virtual
brilliance throughout elsewhere. The shield rivets exhibit typical
softness, but Liberty's head has a complete hairline, and the stars
on the walls are bold. Census: 54 in 67 (9 in 67+, 5 in 67★), 2
finer (9/25).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2444, PCGS# 5777, Greysheet# 5606)
Weight: 6.25 grams
Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
