Finest Known 1929-S Quarter, MS 67
1929-S MS 67 PCGS. A stunning example of one of the most popular type coins ever made. Coinage of the '20s and '30s is looked upon by many today as the glory years of U.S. coin design. At any rate, this particular coin exhibits lovely light gold and russet color. We cannot imagine a cleaner, more pleasing example for the date. Although the head is not full, it is well struck with little evidence of "mushiness" present. For the finest collection. Population: 1 in 67, none finer (5/96).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2444, PCGS# 5776, GSID# 5605)
