Description

1930 Quarter Dollar, MS67 Full Head
Frosty and Pristine, CAC

1930 25C MS67 Full Head PCGS. CAC. Philadelphia coined slightly over 5.6 million quarters in 1930, the last year of the design. The date is plentiful in the context of the series, but top-tier Full Head coins are conditionally scarce. The Superb Gem offered here is an exemplary survivor from that final issue. Speckles of russet appear at the left obverse and parts of the frosty and boldly struck reverse. Liberty's head is bold, and the luminous surfaces are most attractive. PCGS reports a single coin numerically finer in Full Head. PCGS Population: 79 in 67 (10 in 67+), 1 finer (3/26). CAC: 30 in 67, 1 finer (3/26).
