Sharp CAC Example

1919-S 25C AU58+ PCGS. CAC. This Guide Book semikey lives up to its status as genuinely elusive in nice condition. This AU58+ PCGS CAC example is made to order for the advanced "near-Mint set" collector. Original russet and olive toning in the margins cedes to champagne interiors, where just a brush of wear appears over the high points of the figure and eagle. Liberty's head is about 90% full as well. Moreover, the coin lacks the severe clash marks and die lapping common to this San Francisco issue. CAC: 33 in 58, 16 finer (5/26).
